Send Script Reports
From AGEWiki
Often, developers need the Script Reports and Log files sent to help understand and/or fix a problem.
If the game is PBEM, then the hosting player must submit the saves.
To do this (instructions for Windows Vista):
Script Reports
- Open Windows Explorer by clicking on "Start - Computer"
- Navigate to the installation directory for your game
- The default sub-directory will likely be found under C:\Program Files Find the \Scripts folder
- It will be under (inside) the game "acronym" folder:
- (ACW, NCP, BoA, WIA, RoP, RUS, AJE, VGN etc)
- <right-click> on the \Scripts folder, and choose "Send to" - "Compressed Zip Folder"
- If you have installed WinRar or WinZip, you can <right click> "Add to archive" An Archive (zip or rar) file will be created.
- Go to forum, reply to your own problem report posting, and attach the file using the "Manage Attachments" function:
- go to 'advanced' reply mode, scroll down from the reply text window.
- If attachment is too big for forum, try uploading with a site such as Mediafire.com. or others.
