Il semblerait que les destroyers ennemis utilisent de nouvelles armes ASW plus précises et plus puissantes...
Plusieurs de nos sous marins sont rendus inopérationnels et doivent être redirigés vers un port le plus proche pour y faire des réparations...

Arrivées au large de Guadalcanal, les flottes ennemies sont engagées par une petite flottille de 4 vedettes lance-topilles.
Malheureusement de jour et sous le feu des navires d'escorte qui se sont positionnés pour protéger les navires de transports , nos vedettes ne peuvent s'approcher de trop près pour tirer leurs torpilles et doivent battre en retraite, laissant le chemin libre à la force d'invasion alliée..

A L'annonce du débarquement allié à Guadalcanal, une imposante flotte de combat forte de 5 cuirassés, dont le Yamato, ainsi que plusieurs croiseurs quitte l'atoll de Truk
Une grande partie de nos porte avions sont toujours à Yokohama pour installation de nouvelles pièces de DCA, et donc notre aéronavale restera pour le moment en retrait de la bataille..
En Chine, nous avons équipé une escadrille avec le nouveau chasseur Ki-44 IIa Tojo et nous menons la vie dure aux pilotes chinois au dessus de Changsha
