C'est une camapgne solo qui reproduit les 25 missions officielles que devait accomplir un equipage avant de rentrer au pays

25-mission static campaign for B-17 in 1943 ETO
This campaign seeks to provide a more realistic perspective of aerial combat operations for a B-17 pilot during the summer of 1943 in western Europe. Your goal is to survive your 25-mission tour of duty (hopefully, without hitting re-fly - ha ha).
It is set on the Western Front (Summer) map with take-off from England and raids in occupied France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and in western Germany. Flight times are often 1-3 hours in game time (but, with time-skip and time-compression can be much reduced). Your aircraft is part of a large 32-plane "bomber stream" formation.
The campaign is designed to is intended to be used on "full real" a/k/a full-button settings (except "No Instant Success" should be off).
In short, this campaign isn't designed for arcade pilots. It's intended for the long-suffering, patient, and insufficiently-recognized community of heavy-bomber pilots.
Please see the admittedly too long Read Me for for important information about the campaign, its features, the reasoning behind certain features, warnings, pilot notes, known issues, etc.
If there are problems, please let me know. Thanks.
Edit: The B-17F is most appropriate for the period in question, which period utilizes more of the map in question than would be appropriate in later periods. I'm also looking at doing a later-war B-17G campaign.
