1er Septembre 1943 - Bilan du mois et plus !
Ce mois ci fut fort bon !
Les alliées ont essuyé une nouvelle défaite aéronavale à Midway, bien qu'il ait repris l'ile, qui était peu défendu. Cependant pour la première fois plusieurs portes avions ont été touché ainsi que le musashi qui a pris une torpille.
Perte Japonaise:
ile: Midway, première reconquête US.
Navires DD Fumizuki ; SS I-31 ; SS I-23 ; TK Manju Maru
tranquillou bilou.
L'akagi et le Musashi sont en réparation et sont donc indisponible pour au moins 1 à 2 mois.
De plus nos aviateurs à Port Moresby arrivent à garder la base ouverte, ils souffrent mais ça va.
Les forces japonaises sont de 8 CV, 4 CVL dont 3 CS en conversion; 12 cuirassées ; 17 croiseurs lourds, 20 croiseurs légers ; 108 destroyers + 86 sous-marin.

Backer island... pauvre petite ile sans intérêt (sauf pour la reco de mon coté)....
Notre flotte de Cuirassés est attaquée par des Bombardiers en piqué et des bombardier torpilleurs (qui n'ont que des bombes heureusement). Plusieurs bombes touchent nos cuirassés qui rigolent bien de ces piqures (max dommage système sera de 8!).
Mais vue la direction des avions, nous avons bien à faire a une flotte aéronavale! Qu'elle mouche a pris Chef de venir attaquer Backer island?
Notre flotte de 3 CV et 4 CVL est a 1 journée full speed de la zone de combat.... Passage en vitesse supraluminique activée.

Si c'est sa grande surprise, je n'aurais pas tenté Baker Island, un rocher qui ne rapporte rien, alors que je n'ai pas la maîtrise aéronavale et que j'ai besoin de points

Hong Kong.... mais que vient faire Hongkong ici! On signale une grosse activité sous-marine dans le secteur. deux sous-marins attaquent nos transports et coulent de nombreux navires... mais un des deux ne reviendra pas.
Tout d'abord le SS Salmon, qui attaque en surface deux petits navires cargos et qui les coule rapidement.

On avait repéré une flotte à Akyab qui déchargeait du matos depuis 3/4 jours, raison de nos attaques de chasseurs, mais les Nell n'ont jamais voulu décoller. Nos George feront un passage, mais ne trouveront que quelques chasseurs qui prendront la poudre d'escampette.
Alors la marine s'en occupe:

Vu le nombre de bombardiers, je suis étonné du faible nombre de hit. Est-ce un ratio normal ?
Manquent ils d'expérience? Fatigue, moral ?
